A Little Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Kory Billings and
I help individuals get fit and live healthier, better lives.

As a personal trainer and lifestyle coach, my business – KB Fit Training – counsels individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and medical backgrounds in achieving their fitness goals amidst intense work demands, long commutes, and busy family schedules.

As a two-time cancer survivor, bone marrow transplant recipient, and former back surgery patient, chronic pain and injuries quickly defined my life and started taking a great toll on my body. Many of my side effects from cancer and the chemotherapy simply disappeared. I quickly realized that so long as I continued exercising, many aspects of my life would continue to get better.

This is more than personal, however. It’s a calling. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise and Nutrition Specialist with a degree in Kinesiology from The University of Maryland. At UMD, I served as an Athletic Trainer for a variety of the school’s athletes. In addition, I’ve helped injured and aging populations recover under the guidance of many specialty Physical Therapists. Now, I spend my time training people who are determined to change their health and improve their overall quality of life.

Outside of KB Fit Training and the gym, you can find me hiking, camping, or cooking. I also really love to travel, so you can find me hitting the road or hopping on a plane to explore the next place on my bucket list, whenever I have the chance. I am a huge fan of the NBA and a die-hard Dallas Mavericks basketball fan and will watch every game along with anything Marvel as well.
